Day 1
Your host from WildTrek Safaris will be awaiting your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). They will then take you for a relaxing lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee House at The Karen Blixen Museum.
Located in a tranquil setting the historic setting of this restaurant offers a great ambience and chance to decompress after your flight.
After lunch you visit the Giraffe Center where you will be at eye level with giraffes and even hand feed them!
You will then be transferred for dinner and an overnight stay at the Karen Blixen Cottages.

After breakfast you will be driven to the Mt Kenya Region.
Upon arrival at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari club you will be met a warm welcome and lunch.
After settling in you will be taken on an afternoon game drive at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a privately owned wildlife reserve.
This is the closest reserve to Nairobi where you can see the Big Five however the rhinos are the centerpiece of the conservation effort in the region.

Spend the day at leisure at this world-renowned location which has been the retreat of various international celebrities and dignitaries.
The club offers various optional activities you could engage in eg fishing, mountain biking, golf, Horse / Pony Rides, Nature / Bird Walks,
Breakfast on the slopes of Mt Kenya, a visit to the animal orphanage etc; or make the most of the complimentary activities the club offers eg
Giant Hopscotch, Bows and Arrows, Giant Jenga, Giant Checkers, Football / Volleyball / Basketball, Badminton / Table Tennis

Our local guide will meet you at the airstrip and bring you to the Camp.

This huge expanse of gently rolling grassland specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by
massive herds of zebras and wildebeest is the ultimate African cliché.
You will arrive to a warm welcome at the camp.

but the very reason they came in the first place.

After you enjoy breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred for your flight to Nairobi.
On arrival, you will be met by our representative who will bring you to the world renowned Carnivore Restaurant for lunch.
The Carnivore serves up Kenya's most famous nyama choma (barbecued meat). At the entrance is a huge barbecue pit laden with swords of beef, lamb, chicken, as well as farmed game meats such as crocodile, rabbit and ostrich.
The experience works on a simple all-you-can-eat basis, with beautifully attired waiters carving a large variety of meat tableside. As long as the paper flag on your table keeps flying, the meat will keep arriving. There is also a wonderful vegetarian menu.
After lunch you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will connect with your outbound flight, carrying a lifetime of memories from your WildTrek Safaris Kenya tour back with you.
