Day 1

Your host from WildTrek Safaris will be at hand when you arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

After a briefing, you will be transferred for Lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden

Located in a tranquil setting along Karen Road, near the Karen Blixen Museum, it is the site of the original farmhouse which was the Blixen property.

The historic setting of this restaurant offers a great ambience!

Thereafter, visit the Karen Blixen Museum which was once the centerpiece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by

Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke.

The Museum belongs to a different time period in the history of Kenya. The farmhouse gained international fame with the release of the movie

‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film.

You will then be driven to the Nairobi National Park for a Game Drive and then transferred for Dinner and Overnight to your camp / hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, drive to the Aberdare (approx.. 160 Km/ 3hrs). Boasting a large number of elephants

as well as black rhinos, Aberdare National Park lures those who want more than just a safari.

With dense forests, 300m-high waterfalls and amazing hikes, this park is as much about the flora as it is the fauna.

Other than Elephants and Rhinos, keep an eye open for Bush Pigs, rare Black leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, lions and many more! 

Spend the rest of the day and overnight viewing game from the comfort of your lodge.

It's the rhinos that form the centrepiece of the conservancy effort here.

Day 02:

The Ark

Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky,

The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife.

Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from

which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen.

The Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity.

There is also a ground level bunker the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer.

This is a circular pill box-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of

animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety.

Day 3-4

Day 03:

After breakfast you will check out and be driven to Samburu (approx.. 230 Km / 3.5Hours).

Arrive to a warm welcome and Lunch at the camp.

Embark on your first game drive this Afternoon. The most popular park in Northern Kenya,

Samburu’s dominant feature is the Ewaso Nyiro River, which slices through the otherwise bone-dry country.

The river acts as a magnet for thirsty animals, and large numbers of elephants, Grevy's zebras, giraffes and lions gather along the riverbanks.

Head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Samburu National Reserve

Day 04:

Wake up to an early morning game drive followed by Breakfast at the camp.

Lunch will be served at the camp followed by an Afternoon Game Drive. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Blistered with termite skyscrapers, cleaved by the muddy Ewaso Ngiro River and heaving with heavyweight animals,

this triumvirate of national reserves has a beauty that is unsurpassed, as well as a population of creatures that occur in no other major Kenyan park.

These species include the blue-legged Somali ostrich, endangered Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe

and gerenuk – gazelles that dearly wish to be giraffes.

Despite covering just 300 sq km, the reserves' variety of landscapes and vegetation is amazing.

Ashnil Samburu Camp

Ashnil Samburu Camp is a luxury tented set in the spectacular backdrop drop of the Mighty Ol Olokwe Mountain fronting

Ewaso Nyiro River in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve.

The 30 exclusive luxury Tents are spread out along the shady banks of the river under a thick stand of doum Palms.

It features an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun lounges, a garden and a Lounge bar offering views of the African savannah.

Each tent features a decked Terrace with views of the Ewaso Nyiro River.

The restaurant offers views of the river and serves a variety of menus comprising of Oriental, traditional and international cuisines.

A range of activities are available on request and comprise of game drives, nature Walks and a cultural visit to the samburu village,

bush meals like bush lunch/dinner and sundowners.

OlPejeta Conservancy

Day 5-6

After Breakfast, you will be driven to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx.. 150 Km / 2.5 hrs) to arrive in time for Lunch.

After a short rest, head for an Afternoon Game Drive.

It's the rhinos that form the centrepiece of the conservancy effort here – its black rhinos form the largest population in East Africa.

However, Ol Pejeta's role in the wider ecosystem extends beyond its boundaries thanks to

its partner agreements and wildlife corridors with other Laikipia ranches.

Ol Pejeta is also extremely active in local community projects including school infrastructure, health care and the provision of clean water.

Day 05:

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy Morning and Afternoon Game Drives where you might get an opportunity to feed a rhino!

Also get to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Formed in 1993 as a joint alliance between The Jane Goodall Institute and Kenyan Wildlife Services,

this sanctuary was established as a refuge for orphaned and confiscated chimpanzees and is the only place in Kenya

where non-indigenous chimpanzees can be seen.

Day 06:

Day 09:

Another full day in the Maasai Mara will give you an opportunity to continue searching for wildlife

and getting to see the way of life of the indigenous Maasai Community on your visit to a Maasai Village.

The Masai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies,

several group ranches and numerous Maasai villages, is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure

but the very reason they came in the first place.

A hearty Dinner awaits on your return to the camp for overnight.

Day 10

Day 10:

 

A day that seemed a long way off just a few short days ago has come much too soon. 

Business, work and home await and it is time to return to that other world

and bid your newly made friends in Kenya goodbye. 

After you enjoy breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred for your flight to Nairobi (Approx. 40 mins).

You will be met on arrival. Lunch will be served at the world renowned Carnivore Restaurant.

Carnivore serves up Kenya's most famous Nyama Choma (barbecued meat).

At the entrance is a huge barbecue pit laden with real swords of

Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Farmed Game Meats such as Crocodile, Rabbit, Ostrich etc.

The experience works on a simple all-you-can-eat basis: as long as the paper flag on your table is flying,

beautifully attired waiters will keep bringing the meat, which is carved right at the table.  

Thereafter, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport,

where you will connect with your outbound flight, carrying a
